We can't thank you enough for all of your support and willingness to volunteer throughout the year. We are so thankful for all of the parents who joined us at the zoo on Friday. It was a wonderful trip!   Upcoming Events: May 29 - No School, Memorial Day May 30 - 3rd Grade Reading Camp May 31 - Late Start/5th Grade Program June 2 - Potawatomi Zoo Field Trip June 5 - Lincoln Field Day/Picnic June 6-9 - 1/2 Days June 7 - Kiwanis Park Picnic June 9 - Last Day of School Reading Camp Our third graders are going to have a full day of Reading Camp on the Lincoln grounds on Tuesday. Thank you to those who have signed up to run a station or set up tents/canopies. It looks like we will have beautiful weather! Potawatomi Zoo  We are getting very excited about the zoo! Just a reminder that we will be leaving Lincoln at 8:45am on Friday, June 2nd. We do not have space on the bus for chaperones that are going, so you must drive yourself. You are welcome to follow the bus. This is a free trip for students, but chaperones must pay their own admission. With all the year end events, students are certainly beginning to get excited. However, we still have five more weeks of school left and much testing still to complete. We'd appreciate it if you could have a conversation or two about school and learning expectations as we close out this year. Please encourage your child to continue to stay focused on doing his/her best work, persevering through difficult challenges socially and academically, and staying the course through the end.
