Thank You!
We can't thank you enough for all of your support and willingness to volunteer throughout the year. We are so thankful for all of the parents who joined us at the zoo on Friday. It was a wonderful trip!
End of the Year
Can you believe the year is nearly over? We have been so busy that the time just seemed to fly right past us. I've had a fantastic year and I've truly enjoyed working with your child this year. I appreciate all of the support that you've given throughout the year and I'd like to wish your child much success in the years to come.
I encourage you to get your child involved in the summer reading program available at the St. Joseph Public Library. Your child has grown as a reader this year and the summer reading program is a wonderful opportunity to keep him/her interested and involved in reading throughout the summer.
Multiplication and Division Facts
Our Ice Cream Multiplication/Division Fact Challenge ended last week. We will celebrate with ice cream at Kiwanis on June 7th. Please continue to review these facts with your child during the summer to keep them fresh in their minds. IXL or flashcards are great ways to practice. :)
Library Books
Last week all library books should have been returned. If your child has any books still at home, please send them in on Monday.
Cleaning
As we clean up our classroom this week and send things home, it would be helpful for your child to bring in a plastic grocery bag or extra bag to carry things home. Also, we could use a few cans of Clorox Wipes to clean things up for the year. If you would be able to send in a can, I would appreciate it! Thank you!
Weekly Specials Schedule
Our specials are on a Monday-Friday schedule and the same time each day. 3rd grade specials begin right at 9:25 every day. Wednesdays will be used as make-up days for missed specials, extra computer lessons, music practice days, etc.
