End of the Year Check-in

Spring is definitely in the air! With all the year end events, students are certainly beginning to get excited. However, we still have five more weeks of school left and much testing still to complete. We'd appreciate it if you could have a conversation or two about school and learning expectations as we close out this year. Please encourage your child to continue to stay focused on doing his/her best work, persevering through difficult challenges socially and academically, and staying the course through the end. We thank you for your support in helping your child finish the year strong.

Teacher Appreciation Week THANKS

Wow! We are so thankful for all the love we felt last week. From the kind and thoughtful notes, to the beautiful bouquets of flowers, to the special treats and lunches, and all the extra surprises throughout the week, we definitely felt a tremendous outpouring of love and support from students, families, and our PTO. Words, alone, cannot express our gratitude. THANK YOU ALL!

Multiplication and Division Facts

We are continuing our multiplication/division fact challenge...ice cream!  Please check in with your child and continue reviewing their multiplication and division facts, especially 6, 7, 8, and 9s.  :)

NWEA

This week, students will be finishing up the NWEA tests and will take the MATH portion on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (if needed). It's been many weeks of testing, but we are almost done. We are proud of the efforts of our students to do their best. This week's schedule for NWEA is below. There is really no way students can "study" for these tests, but you can help your child be ready for these by:

  • Making sure your child has a good night's rest.
  • Making sure your child eats a healthy breakfast.
  • Providing a positive send off to school in the morning.
  • Not scheduling appointments on these days.
