Parent Teacher Conferences
The winter parent teacher conference window this year is from February 6th - 28th. As in the past, we will not be meeting with every parent for winter conferences. We will be sending out emails with a link to a signup genius for those parents that we would like to meet with. However, if you don’t receive an email, but have concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your child's teacher.
For students in Mrs. Ettinger's Class, your conferences will be held in March when Mrs. Ettinger returns. She will reach out to those needing a conference.
Pizza Multiplication
Please check with your child to see which level they are working on this week. Some students need extra practice at home. Flashcards and IXL F Skills are great ways to practice at home. Our pizza party will on February 14th, the same day as our Kindness Party. Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math.
Valentine's Day Party
We will have our class Valentine's Day celebration on Tuesday, February 14 from 2:45-3:35. Your child is welcome to bring valentines to school to pass out to classmates. It is not mandatory to share valentines, but if the choice is made to bring them, please ensure that one is brought for everyone in our class and that each one is signed by your child. A class list was sent home. Each class list is also linked below.
We will design Valentine bags in class so this will not need to be done at home. Completed valentines may be brought to school on February 14th.
Other party updates:
If you signed up to help at this party, your child’s teacher will reach out to you. All three classes decided to combine our pizza math facts celebration with our Valentine’s Day Party. We will have pizza, a treat and a drink.
Weekly Specials Schedule
Our specials are on a Monday-Friday schedule and the same time each day. 3rd grade specials begin right at 9:25 every day. Wednesdays will be used as make-up days for missed specials, extra computer lessons, music practice days, etc.
