Parent Teacher Conferences

Winter parent teacher conferences are happening now. We have two half days this week on Thursday and Friday for conferences. Emails have been sent to those families we would like to meet with at this time. If you didn't receive an email, but have concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your child's teacher. 


Math Test This Week

We will be wrapping up our unit on geometric shapes, area, and perimeter this week and will have a unit test this Friday. Watch this video to learn more about what students have been working on throughout this unit. You'll also learn about a fun game you can try at home.


Weekly Specials Schedule

Our specials are on a Monday-Friday schedule and the same time each day. 3rd grade specials begin right at 9:25 every day. Wednesdays will be used as make-up days for missed specials, extra computer lessons, music practice days, etc.

A strong foundation of math fact fluency leads to an easier ability to master future math concepts such as multi-digit multiplication and division.  As a third grader, your child will be working toward mastering their multiplication facts through 100 this year.
