Pizza Multiplication
We have been working very hard at learning many different strategies for solving multiplication problems. We are continuing to work on memorizing their multiplication 1-10 facts. This week we will be starting a fun incentive to learn our multiplication facts. Students will be working to earn a pizza party. For each multiplication level they pass, students will add another piece to make a whole pizza. Our pizza party will on February 14th, the same day as our Kindness Party. Please have your child continue working on their facts at home. Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math.
Mid-Year NWEA Testing
Our students will be taking the mid-year NWEA reading test on Thursday and Friday from 10:45-11:45 this week. There is no need to prepare at home other than to discuss the importance of good test taking skills: taking your time, doing your best, staying focused, eating a good breakfast, drinking water, etc. Next week we will take the math test on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:45 - 11:45. Thank you for your encouragement at home!
