    3rd Grade News Week 4 September 26th - September 30th Upcoming Events: Monday, Sept. 26th - Homework Sheet due! Wednesday, Sept. 28th- Late Start Daily Breakfast Just a reminder... Students eating breakfast should arrive early and can enter the building at 8:10  through the gym doors located off of the playground. Bus students should go right to the gym to get breakfast as soon as they arrive.  We begin our day right at 8:30 and have had students still wandering in with breakfast at that time.  Please check in with your child to be sure they are getting finished with their breakfast by 8:30.  Thank you so much! Homework On Monday, students will be turning in their first homework sheet. Our biggest goal with homework is for students to read every night for 20 minutes. We spent time getting to know each other and learning our classroom routines. This week we will continue to work on team building activities and begin getting into math, writing and social studies. NWEA This week we will be taking our NWEA test for both math and reading. We will be testing in the mornings each day this week. We are giving two days for each test, this way kids will have plenty of time to finish, and not get too overwhelmed. Thank you for having your child here on time in the mornings during this week!
